The volcanoes where we are working have fascinating eruptive histories, and the techniques we will be using represent the state-of-the-art in new geophysical and petrological techniques.
Understanding volcanism is important not just to us scientists but also to those who have to live with the impacts of eruptions and manage their risk. Volcanoes are also just fascinating phenomena.
So ‘Ex-X’ intends to not only create academic outputs but produce ‘useful’ models and insights and share some of our interest in volcanoes along the way. Check back here to find out more of our outputs and outreach materials!
